An effective arrangement of this much loved march by Italian composer Giueseppe Verdi who was known most notable for his operas. Grand March from Aida was composed for his 1871 grand opera Aida. The Grand March appears in Act II as Radames leads the Egyptian army on its return following their victory over the Ethiopians. Away from the opera hall The Grand March is commonly used in Latin America for graduation ceremonies and in Verdi’s native Italy it is often heard on the terraces of Italian football matches.

This brass septet arrangement captures all the grand majesty of Radames victory parade.
